Chembra Peak

At 2100 meters, the spectacular Chembra Peak, located towards the southern part of Wayanad, is the tallest summit in the region. Climbing this peak is a challenging mountaineering endeavor and takes a full day. It is blessed with a heart-shaped small lake at the top.

Brahmagiri Hill

Brahmagiri is a mountain range in the Western Ghats at a height of 1600 meters. Situated in North Wayanad near Thirunelly Temple at the border of Kodagu district (Karnataka), it offers lovely scenery of grasslands, shola forest, evergreen forest, birds, and animals.

Pakshipathalam

Located deep within the forest in the Brahmagiri Hills at an altitude of more than 1700 meters, Pakshipathalam is a formation of large boulders, some as tall as two-story buildings. The deep caves found here are home to a wide variety of birds and distinctive species of plants. The trek involves an arduous 7 km journey through the forest, starting at Thirunelly.
